Here I am trying to set out the story of the Boyer side of my family tree, as well as to explore the mystery of Annie Boyer, and her descendants, if any. |

 Mary Graham Creighton Mary Graham Creighton married John C. Boyer, probably sometime around 1880. This is based on a notation on the back of the frame which says, "about 16 years old", and on the fact that my grandfather, John Walter Boyer, who was born ca.1885,was at least their second child. |
First Generation American Boyer ancestor: Christopher Beyer A. He came from the Palatinate on the ship "Johnson" to Philadelphia, PA, landing Sept. 19, 1732. Full Name: John Christopher Beyer, also spelled "Bayer". Tax and other records found in Berks Co., PA. Wife: Anna Maria. Children: Christopher, Henry, Engelberd, John, Simon, Catrina, and Maria Sabina. Unknown dates of birth and death. |
